Jenna is the Curator of Kaleidoscope Gallery. Alongside her role at the Courthouse, she is a graphic designer and self-taught photographer who loves collaborating and meeting artists of all genres. After completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Graphic Design & Multimedia) in 2008 she began working as a graphic designer at MooMedia Australia where she continued to enhance her skills for four years with particular focus in the performing arts. During this time she also experimented with photography, a hobby since her early teenage years and as her love for it grew she decided to pursue it full-time and began ‘Jenna for Jethro Photography’ in 2009.In 2010 Jenna was an Artist in Residence at the Courthouse in which she exhibited digitally manipulated photography in the ‘Emerging Artists’ exhibition. She has also exhibited paintings and large scale fashion photography on the Lemon Wall, a film experimentation for ‘Illumination’ and projected her photography onto the windows at Customs House. Over the years, Jenna’s involvement at the Courthouse has given her the freedom to evolve an an artist and expand her skills through experimentation and collaboration. This has inspired her to encourage other artists to do the same. As Curator of Kaleidoscope Gallery her passion is to expose hidden local talent and construct creative collaborations, encouraging young artists to experiment, believe in their ideas and help bring them to life!
